MLEARNING
Hello everybody! We are students of 3rd of ESO from IPSE School. This year we are doing something new. We carried out a touristic/mathematic project called Mlearning.
IPSE School is located in the neighbourhood Eixample (Barcelona). It’s a private and religious school. It’s a mixed school where students leave school when they are 18 years old.
Let’s talk about our project! In our school we started this project because we wanted to improve our technology skills and find out new ways of working in teams. In this project, we were allowed to have different electronic appliances and we could go out onto the street. Once outside the school, we had to look for buildings, statues, houses... that had some Maths in them. For example, squares, numbers, triangles, lines, etc. With all the information we got from the different places we chose near our school, we created a webpage with a route.
In this cooperative project, we worked in teams. We worked in teams of five people. Each person of the team had a specific role and was the responsible of his/her part. When each team had finished their work, the whole class joined everything on a website creating a route.
We learned to use new apps and we had a nice experience!
